Iron Fist Series Netflix Show Release Date And Latest Updates: A New Show Coming To Netflix Based On A Superhero Who Is Able To Concentrate His Body's Energies Into His Hand Which Manifests As A Glow
You would be forgiven for thinking this is a series based on the 2012 movie 'The Man with the Iron Fists' , it is not. As a matter of fact in the comic Marvel Premier #15-25 a new superhero named Iron Fist made a debut. This was in 1974 when Kung Fu had just become quite famous. The superhero had his own title comic before he was paired up with Luke Cage also known as Power Man who was also having problems keeping his numbers up. It was in this series that he was killed off. Iron Fist was later revived and fans were convinced that the dead man was his doppelganger. Iron Fist was paired with a host of heroes over time including Iron Man and Wolverine and most recently the New Avengers comic series. He is expected to be in his own 12 issue comic book series as part of the All-New Marvel Now event.
If ever there was an answer to Batman, Iron Fist would be it. His father was a rich business man at the head of his company who learned martial arts as a child. On an expedition to go back to the city where he learned Martial arts with his wife, business partner and child (the future iron fist) he slips off a cliff and his business partner lets him die, Iron fist and his mother continue but she is attacked by wolves and dies. Young Daniel (Iron Fist) continues to the lost city with revenge in his heart. He is taught martial arts there and fights a dragon earning him the title Dragon Fist. He returns to civilization to get his revenge. Long story short he regains control over his father's company and becomes a super rich masked avenger just like Batman.
Iron Fist is able to concentrate his body's energies into his hand which manifests as a glow not without consequences as this action leaves our superhero drained both physically and mentally. The release date has not been announced yet but we should expect it around mid 2015.
