Lady Gaga New Album News and Updates: Gaga and Bennett to Welcome 2015 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas

Lady Gaga New Album 'Cheek to Cheek' with Tony Bennett debuted at the number one spot on the Top 200 when it was released last month. It also became #1 on Billboard's Jazz Album and Traditional Album charts.

This means that the collaboration of the 'Born this Way' singer and the legendary Tony Bennett is a smash tandem.

The duo is set to close 2014 with a bang on a New Year's Eve concert at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. They will electrify New Year's eve at the Mophie Stage of the Hotel. The featured songs will be Lady Gaga's new album with Bennett. This will mark the first time that the duo will perform in Vegas.

In a statement released in Rolling Stone: "I can't think of anyone other than Lady Gaga that I would want to sing with more on New Year's Eve - I'm excited to swing in the New Year with 'Lady,'" Bennett explained.

"I can't wait to kick off 2015 'cheek to cheek' with the legendary Mr. Tony Bennett," Gaga adds on. "New Year's celebrations are about cherishing family, friendship and the future - three things this man has taught me much about."

Gaga and Bennett will countdown till January 1, 2015 and the concert will open at 9PM.

"It's all the great songs of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, all the greatest composers. No other country has ever given the rest of the world so many magnificent songs, and they're going to live forever." Bennett revealed before the album launch.

Lisa Marchese, the Cosmopolitan's CMO stated: "Welcoming icons of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga's caliber together on the same stage in such an intimate setting solidifies The Cosmopolitan's reputation for creating truly unforgettable New Year's Eve experiences."

Tickets will go on sale at The Cosmopolitan's website and prices will start at $125.
