Brooklyn Nine-Nine Review: FOX's Another Attempt To Get Back Their Former Glory As King Of Network Comedy
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is a fun sitcom about the lives of the group detectives working in New York precinct. This includes one good-for-nothing detective who got no other choice but to lose weight when he gets a new boss. The said series is FOX's another attempt to get back their former glory as king of network comedy, yet; after it began; many viewers found likeness for this new show that they have not found for a comedy show.
Andy Samberg anchors the most part with his sarcastic sense of humour. This features lots of pokerfaced humour and skits where many of it being a spoof of the usual crime drama. Many were reminded of The Office while watching this and they think that this was intentional as means to provide such humour and style.
Actually, the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" have one of the strongest pilot episode people have seen for quite a while. The show has initiated to the audience the characters in such a manner that does not appear that they are trying candidly introducing them. Many shows are so clumsy in doing so like telling the viewers two characters are too close and talk the way real people don't talk.
The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" was able to accomplish these vital first impressions without exaggerating the core personalities of its characters. Also, they were capable of letting their audience see the average day and learn the peculiar interactions that normally happen alongside the new C.O Capt. Holt. The groundwork of the show is really solid.
Although it is expected that the show have some detective works, the main focus of the comical and out of the ordinary styles of the detectives. The show is filled with surprising joke and witty.
This might not be too appealing for the mass audience since it is more witty, but do not actually require its viewers to analyze all the jokes.
This may bring a new recipe for a comedy show that people may eventually love. The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is obviously not for everyone to appreciate. However, it is highly suggested for one to watch the entire pilot episode before any judgement is made. Lastly, this is a truly enjoyable show with silly spoof on the clichés of police shows.
