GoPro to launch new Hero cameras: Entry-level camera is going to be available for only $169
GoPro is returning with a new release in October 5. This time, the company brings in three new models: an entry-level camera along with two high-end cameras. The company will be launching three new models named as Hero, Hero4Black, and Hero4 Silver.
The entry-level camera Hero will be available for $169 only. The Hero4 Black will cost around $499 according to the company. The camera comes with lot of promises to beat its previous model. The company mentioned that the resolution has doubled up in the new device than the previous model GoPro Hero3+. The Hero4 Black allows recording of 4K video and the frame rate is 30fps. The camera resolution expected to be very sharp.
GoPro is a very popular name for the sports fan. It is easy to set up to motorcycles, bi-cycles, surfing boards. It performs very well to shoot while moving. Its specially designed hardware configuration allows user to experience better video recording while moving. It is so much popular that its channel has 2.2 million subscribers in YouTube with 600million views. Therefore, the new model camera has lot of expectations to bring new level of success for the company.
The mid-level camera named as Hero5 Silver, which will cost around $399. It has provisions for LCD preview screen that will allow user to shoot through the screen. The video playback system will also allow experiencing the recorded video instantly after recording through the LCD screen. The high end Hero4 Black lacks the facility of LCD screen. The company mentioned that as it supports 4k video recording the addition of LCD screen would overheat the camera. To avoid overheat issue playing 4k footage through the device has been resisted by the company. The Hero4 Black allows to record 4K videos at 30fps. It also can record 2.7K and 1080p respectively at 50fps and at 120fps.
The Hero4 Silver can record 2.7K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 60 fps, and 720p videos at 120fps. Both the camera has Wi-Fi connectivity and both of them are usable in less than 131 feet of water.
