According to a previously released promo trailer for 'The Vampire Diaries,' Damon Salvatore will be featuring in the upcoming season of the series. According to the trailer, he will appear in the season through Elena's hallucinations. The latest spoilers for the CW series report on 'The Vampire Diaries' finding another way to bring back the dead character in the series once more.
Caroline Dies. The Executive Producer of the series says that there will be a lot of flashback scenes in the upcoming season the TV series. She went ahead and teased, "We will see an era we haven't seen before in flashbacks and it will help tie together a bunch of storylines." The report further said that the flashback scenes will feature Salvatore's brother, Damon and Stefan in the upcoming season. The executive producer of the series, Julie Plec also gave us some hints concerning the upcoming season.
In a spoiler report from Entertainment Weekly, Julie Plec said that there will be several 'conflict providers' in the upcoming season. She also said that she is particularly excited that there is a villain-esque person that the TVD fans will meet. She is also excited that the fans will get to know the deep and dark mind of a psychopathic personality.
There are previous reports which said that in the upcoming season, Caroline will admit her romantic feelings towards Stefan but Stefan will dismiss this as he is grieving due to the disappearance of his brother. Elena will also be struggling with dealing with the loss of her lover. The synopsis of the premiere episode, entitled 'I'll Remember', reads, "After spending the past four months coping with the loss of Damon in an unconventional and potentially dangerous way, Elena has turned to Whitmore College for the start of sophomore year. Unable to move on, Caroline is desperate to find a way to reverse the anti-magic spell the Travelers have put on the mystic falls and grows frustrated when all her calls to Stephan go unanswered."
Spoilers reveal that Elena will be devastated after Damon's disappearance. To get over the pain, Elena will go back to school and she will apply for an internship to be a doctor just like her parents. The 6th season of 'The Vampire Diaries' will hit your screens once again on 2nd October at 8 p.m. on the CW network.
