Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers, Trailer, Episode 1 Premiere And Rumors: Could This Be The Final Season Of The Vampire Diaries Ending With Caroline Sacrificing Herself For Her Friends
We have the latest for you on the spoilers, trailer, episode 1 premiere and rumors of the Vampire Diaries season 6. The 'Vampire Diaries' series is one of the most watched and most loved series. The good news to the fans is that the 6th season of the series is not so far from release. The CW network has recently released a poster which has kept the fans thinking and is actually keeping them on their toes. The 'Vampire Diaries' season 6 has been slated for a 2nd October premiere date.
In the recently released poster, Damon and Bonnie are seen holding hands while Elena and Stefan walk together. Caroline, Tyler, Enzo, Matt, Alaric and Jeremy are seen alone revealing their loneliness. In the past seasons, Caroline and Stefan have been into each other but their friendship might be ending sometime soon. Julie Plec, the Executive Producer of the series revealed that, "Caroline isn't going to let Stefan off the hook very easily. In fact, his determination to move on and start a new life after the loss of his brother may ultimately ruin the friendship he's built over the years."
Rumor has it that, Caroline might actually die in the upcoming season of the hit series because this is also suspected to be the last 'Vampire Diaries' season. It is speculated that Caroline will sacrifice her life in order to bring back the elder Salvatore brother and Bonnie from the other side. The previous season of the series ended in suspense where Damon and Elena's plan to sacrifice their lives and kill the Travellers and bring back Stefan while trying to break the spell on the Mystics Falls didn't go as planned.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Plec said, "There is a villain-esque person in this season that I'm particularly excited about because it does break the mold a little bit of our villains which seem to be very often redeemable in their own way. And we get to explore the deep, dark minds of a psychopathic personality, so I'm very excited about that. " An official synopsis of the season reads, "Unable to move on, Caroline is desperate to find a way to reverse the anti-magic spell the Travelers have put over Mystic falls and grows frustrated when her calls to Stefan go unanswered."
As the Vampire Diaries season 6 is set to premiere on 2nd October on The CW, we just have to wait and see how the events unfold. Stay with us for more news.
