This is an upcoming American 3D computer animated comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and distributed by 20TH Century Fox. The film based on the artistic work of it first author Charles M. Schulz's. Directed by Steve Martino and written by Bryan Schulz, Craig Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, It is set to be fifth film based on the comic. The film is also expected to be the first feature film based on the Peanuts comic characters in 35 years. To commemorate the comic's 65th anniversary, the film is scheduled to premiere on the 6th November 2015.
The film's origin dates back to a 1950s daily American comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz. The comic strip ran from October 2, 1950, to February 13, 2000 and even after the last day of its run, the comic continued in returns. Fans claim the strip was the most popular and influential. With 17,897 strips published in all, the strips made their creator, Charles M. Schulz, filthy rich and from the same story, his family still gets return. Peanuts ran in over 2,600 newspaper during it's time, as the demand of its fans was great. As a result, readership of the comic strips shot to three hundred and fifty five million in seventy five countries and with its fans continuously rising, the strip was translated in twenty one languages..
After long rights negotiations with the Schulz family 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios finally announced their success in getting rights to produce a 3D computer animated feature film based on the strip.. To commemorate the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas, the film has been set a November 25, 1015. The film is highly anticipated by fans who won't only be children but adults as well because of its past fans that followed the comic strip as children but are now fully grown.
