Survivor Season 29 Spoilers, Cast, And Other Details
What happens when you leave stranger couples marooned fighting for food, shelter, and other basic necessities? There's tones of drama, new relationship equations, backstabbing, blood, and what not.
The last 28 Survivor Seasons have amazed audiences with something different every time and now the makers are all set to present Season 29 Survivor: San Juan del Sur - Blood vs. Water, which premieres from Sept. 24 on CBS.
The Cast
When Charlie Parsons had created the original Expedition Robinson, he was certain that only one thing will make viewers interested: Eccentric Personalities. And that's exactly what the producers and casting team are looking for in Survivor Season 29 cast .
John Rocker (39): If you would look in the dictionary, he will be somewhere around the word controversy. This former relief pitcher was all over the news back in 1999 due to controversial statements.
Julie McGee (34): John's girlfriend is also coming to the show. This formal model is now the owner of a spray tan business. Although there is little known about her personal equation with John, it will be interesting to see them both on the show.
Josh Canfield (32): This singer, writer, comedian, and actor is also appearing on the show with his boyfriend Reed Kelly. Reed says that Josh is a lot like Survivor Star Lisa Whelchel in terms of personality traits.
Reed Kelly (31): He is a Broadway performer, aerialist, and model. Kelly has even featured on Time Magazine as a model and appeared onstage in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Wicked.
Nadiya Anderson (28): We have already seen this familiar face on The Amazing Race recently with her twin sister Natalie. However, they could not go a long way and were soon eliminated.
Natalie Anderson (28): She thinks that humans learn the most when basic comforts are taken away. Natalie, a crossfit coach, thinks that this game is a couple of notches over her last reality show and that she is ready for it.
Others: Jeff Probst recently told about how the show was supposed to have 10 couples, i.e. 20 contestants in total but due to medical emergencies, two girls had to leave the show. So, now there are actually more boys around. Some of the other contestants are Keith Nale (54) with Wes Nale (23), Missy Payne (47) with Bayler Wilson (20), and more.
The Spoilers
There is news that Survivor Season 29 or Survivor: San Juan del Sur - Blood vs. Water will see twists with an Exile Island in place of Redemption. Jeff Probst talked to EW a while back how they are trying to make it fearful and brutal for those who lose against the partner.
