The new generation of Tablets from the tech giant, Apple seem to be on their way for release in the third quarter of the year. The Apple iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 are up. They are set to arrive sometime in October which is within the usual release window for the company's tablet lineup. As a matter fact it seems that the iPad Air may be released earlier than previously thought. According to Ming-chi Kuo of MacRumors, "We think the upgraded iPad Air will be launched earlier in 2014 than the iPad Air was in 2013,"

Apple want to keep details about the gadgets under wraps but specs information and other features are finding their way into public knowledge. For example, it seems that the iPad mini 3 and the Air 2 are going to incorporate the same design characteristics that their predecessors had.

The screen display also remains the same though there will be an upgraded pixel resolution this time round, probably 2K. The gadgets will be powered using the upcoming A8 processor. One of the advantages that the iPad Air is going to bring is the 2GB RAM which is going to enable the device to have split screen capabilities for multitasking. The devices will feature an 8Mp iSight camera at the rear for the iPad mini 3 and a 5MP 1080p HD for the iPad Air 2. The front camera sensors will be between 1.2 to 1.5 MP for both devices. One thing that the fans will be waiting for is the new TouchID fingerprint sensor and iOS 8 software. Tech Radar has been talking about the possibilities of the new generation features of the upcoming tablets would be a lot nicer if they incorporated the new generation of technology which is the new touch ID. However, not only is it going to be introduced for the new tablets but for any new generation apple devices including the iPod touch 6G, the Mac mini and iPhone 5S and the upcoming iPhone 6.
