Agent Carter New Show, Reveals, Spoilers and Rumors: Hayley Atwell to Play Agent Peggy Carter
Nowadays it seems like everybody in the marvel universe has their own show. Coming to the universe is the show Agent Carter. The show was officially ordered on May 8th and is set to debut in early 2015 and shall add to Marvel's already extensive universe.
The show which was birthed from a short movie is about agent Peggy Carter who must balance her routine office work at the Strategic scientific reserve with her secret work or Howard Stark. This series unlike most series in the Marvel history takes us back in time and it shall be interesting to see how it contributes to the universe. Seeing as nothing is in the Marvel Universe for nothing , we are interested to see what blocks shall be falling into place. Shall we be seeing precursors to SHIELD? Shall we hear a little about Captain America? Maybe we will see him! There are a whole lot of possibilities and time to cover that gives this particular series a little more space within which to grow unlike other series currently showing. It will no doubt have some juicy clues and plot developments leading to Avengers 2 coming out in 2015.
Hayley Atwell shall be playing Peggy Carter. This British- American has starred in movies, on stage and in T.V series'. Miss Atwell was nominated for a golden globe for her work in the miniseries The Pillars Of The Earth and has done extensive work with the Royal Shakespeare company so we know she isn't a wild card. Dominic Cooper shall be starring as Howard stark, Mr. Cooper shall be reprising his role from Captain America and who we must mention has an uncanny resemblance to Mr. Downey Junior suiting him perfectly for the role. Jarvis is set to make an appearance. If you are a Marvel fan, you know that Tony Starks digital butler is called Jarvis. Turns out he may be based on his father's actual English butler whom we shall get to see in this series. We imagine we shall get to see the same level of devotion from the real deal.
