Jon Micah Sumrall, lead singer of Kutless, gave an update on Facebook at around 2 a.m. on May 23, posting, "We've been writing for our new record the whole past week. We have about 20 new songs to work with! I'm looking forward to hearing some of these songs develop as we continue to work on them for the record."
Meanwhile, Kutless is set to begin touring again on June 6, starting at the Harlan Poke Sallat Festival, in Harlan, Kentucky, according to their website. The 'Believer Tour' will promote their 2012 album and will also feature special guests, 'Luminate' and 'Ashes Remain,' as well as N.F. The tour will run until the Fall.
'Believer,' the band's eighth studio album, has had great success reaching 36 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and topping the iTunes Christian album sales chart and it is continuing to grow in popularity, breathecast reports.
