Luke Wareham Releases "Set Me Apart," featuring Millie Ferguson Tomorrow
"Set Me Apart" is the new upbeat, energetic single from UK songwriter and worship leader Luke Wareham featuring Millie Ferguson (Gas Street Music) ahead of his new EP that is coming out later this year. The song focuses on living a life set apart for Jesus, choosing to live for Him and putting our trust in Him.
Luke says "I wrote this new song with Joe Hardy and Ollie Morris whilst we reflected about how when serving at different youth festivals and events around the UK, we can a see a generation coming up who are ALL in for Jesus. The song features the amazing Millie Ferguson and it is such a privilege to have Millie sing on the song with me. I love the way Dan Stirling has produced the song and it was great to have Jonny Bird mastering and Tim Cooke playing drums on it. It is a song about living a life set apart for Jesus and we strived to make it an upbeat, energetic song that will help people put their trust in Him. I have already been singing this song at various youth festivals around the UK and the song has resonated with a generation who want to live a life set apart for Jesus."
Where the world wants fame
Set me apart I choose to live free
And see your Holy name
Be lifted high be lifted high.
Set Me Apart
The overall theme for Luke's new EP Christ Is Lord is about how having Jesus as the centre of our life changes everything! Luke loves to write songs straight from the Bible and for the local church to sing. Psalm 146:2 has inspired these new songs when it says, 'I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live'.
"Set Me Apart" the second single off this new EP is out on the 5th of July and is available to stream and download on all music platforms, the brand-new lyric video is on YouTube and chordcharts are available to download via CCLI Songselect.
