Nate Parrish Joins Brian Head Welch and Spoken For Benefit Concert For Human Trafficking Survivors
Nate Parrish has joined the lineup for An Evening of Rock and Conversation, a benefit concert supporting the human trafficking survivors served by Magdelene Hope. The evening's roster is spearheaded by Brian Head Welch and Spoken. You can access tickets at https://linktr.ee/rockandconversation.
"Any time I can rock while also raising awareness for a great cause, I'm in!" punk rocker Nate Parrish offers. "Shining a light on the darkness of human trafficking happening right now in Bakersfield is something I believe our community can all unite around. Let's do this!"
The event will be happening on Nate Parrish's home turf at The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater. Tickets, which are $35 in advance and $40 day of show, give each attendee a chance to support the mission, enjoy some music and participate in a live auction. All of this is key to empowering Magdelene Hope to continue their work in serving the vulnerable population of local trafficking survivors.
"Our desire is to see more people be made aware, volunteer, advocate, and partner with us in our mission to eradicate sex trafficking," explains Dr. Doug Bennett, founder and president of Magdalene Hope. "I am excited to have Spoken and Nate Parrish on the same bill with my longtime friend Brian Head Welch. They'll join together for a conversation about life, music, the launching of his new record label, and more. We will be selling Korn Koffee on our coffee truck at the show. Our truck provides employment to survivors through Magdalene Hope's Rescue Grounds Coffee Company."
The end result promises to be an evening that extends truly multi-faceted support to the work of ending sex trafficking.
An Evening of Rock and Conversation will begin at 7:00 on May 28, with doors opening at 6:00. Get tickets at https://linktr.ee/rockandconversation. To learn more about the mission of Magdelene Hope or donate directly, visit https://magdalenehope.org/.
If you think that you or someone you know is being trafficked, text "HELP" to 233733 or call 888-373-7888.
