Demi-Leigh Tebow Set To Release Her Debut Book, "A Crown That Lasts: You Are Not Your Label"
Philanthropist, entrepreneur, speaker, model and Miss Universe (2017) Demi-Leigh Tebow will release her debut book A Crown That Lasts: You Are Not Your Label on August 13 via W Publishing Group.
In A Crown that Lasts, Tebow confesses the danger of tying personal identity to accomplishments, discovering the truth of who we were created to be, and how to use any platform, no matter how big or small, for eternal impact.
On this earth, a crown is what separates victors from the rest of the competitors, but the goal of creating a life worth living is not to gain a trophy, get a prize, or keep the crown. While walking the reader through the journey of her own evolving confidence-from basing her identity on temporary labels and her own efforts, to discovering the rock-solid security of anchoring her dreams in her Maker-Tebow weaves her story together with the insights she's learned along the way.
"I couldn't be more excited to finally announce my first book, A Crown that Lasts!" says Tebow. "It's been a long time in the making and it wasn't always easy...there were times I had to dig deeper, peel off the labels placed on me by society, work through the mistakes I've made and the pain I've experienced. But one thing remained: the calling and responsibility I've felt to share this message with the world. I can't wait for everyone to join me on this journey to finding a crown that lasts by walking confidently in your unique purpose."
From relating to discomfort, confusion and doubt to discovering God-confidence during life's unexpected detours and beyond, A Crown That Lasts illustrates how the purpose of our lives is to love and serve God and others, and finding the encouragement to focus not just on our own aspirations, but on our greater purpose and leaving behind a footprint of significance, not just success.
Demi-Leigh Tebow is one of the most influential voices on the international stage, using her platforms as Miss South Africa and Miss Universe to educate and inspire. After surviving an attempted carjacking, she founded the #Unbreakable Campaign to educate and empower women by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to be able to handle dangerous situations. Tebow shares her passion for living a values-driven life, her purpose inspired by her faith in God, and her insights about making an impact in sought-after keynotes and conversations. Always a community-minded leader, she strives to bring compassion to hurting people all over the world and be a voice for the voiceless victims of human trafficking. She lends her philanthropic vision to the Tim Tebow Foundation, raising awareness for the fight against human trafficking and supporting children with profound medical needs, among other impactful mission work.
