Building on the success of his previous works, Tedashii's primed to release "Dead Or Alive Pt. 2" promising to be a bold and introspective journey through life's complexities, offering listeners a unique blend of heartfelt storytelling and powerful beats. "Pray For Me," the second single to release on the upcoming EP following "IYKYK," showcases Tedashii's lyrical prowess and raw emotion, amplified by the dynamic collaboration with DKG KIE. With its infectious rhythm and thought-provoking lyrics, "Pray For Me" is poised to resonate with fans old and new alike.
"Over the past year or so, I've learned that the many influences and cultures I've experienced have given me a unique perspective on the world and my faith. This song for me is about celebrating those differences. Just because someone lives there life differently than you, doesn't mean it's wrong" Tedashii says. "I hope this encourages and offers a new perspective for people. Whether you're someone genuinely walking with God and facing judgement or the person casting judgement, we're better off praying for each other."
The first project of this series, "Dead or Alive Pt. 1" released in September of 2023, begins to recount the pain and trials he's battled, leaving a highly-anticipated end of the story. With the project surpassing four million streams to date, he's ready to follow it up with Pt. 2 of the series to tell the rest of the story. It's been a series that has captivated fans with Tedashii's storytelling and topical explorations of mental health, struggles with injustice and very real warfare with the enemy as he goes through his healing journey.
Tedashii explains, "At several points in my own life, I've felt crushed under the weight of so many hardships and I've even attempted to end it all. It was in that moment I was faced with a choice, to live or die. Dead Or Alive is my journey of choosing to live, while saying to the listener what I said to myself: dead or alive, you decide."
Now that he has shared his darkest life experiences, Tedashii is now motivated knowing he's still here and God still has a purpose for him. He's also hopeful that his story will resonate with people who have had a similar experience and encourage them to choose life abundantly as he has. Throughout his career, Tedashii has garnered critical acclaim for his ability to tackle real-life issues with authenticity and vulnerability. "Dead Or Alive Pt. 2" will surely continue that tradition while also showcasing his growth and evolution as an artist.
