The Division Release Date: Ubisoft Leaks Information on Upcoming Game Features Including Cleaner Characters and the 'Green Zone'
Ubisoft has launched an ambitious project known as the Division which is based on a team exercise that takes place in a harsh world environment that requires the players to act as officers of order. The release date for the division has been pegged for 2015 for X Box One, PS4 as well as PC. Probably something akin to resident evil or H1Z1, the Division is a bit different combining special tactics and weaponry. The developer presented the division through a game play demo which took place at the E3 2014 which took place in June. Even if, the company has tried to keep as much details from coming out, there are still tidbits of information that find their way to the public from time to time.
One of the recent information leaks is about the plot of the game as well as the starting point. The context is New York City in the near future. A virus has destroyed most of the world's population. The setting is thus a place where law and order are a thing of the past. The streets become chaotic and this is where the players come in. apparently, the users will be part f a special tactics unit as former military who try to restore order to the mess. The play will start from a green zone in the middle of Manhattan where the players will get to plan and regroup before they deploy within the city or on whatever missions they are tasked. From the player's perspective, this is where you get to choose characters and respect weapons as well as interact with other characters. Other spoilers on the characters that came out include the existence of the cleaners.
Within thin game, these characters are supposed to seek out the most infected areas of the city and burn the bodies of the deceased infected. They are also supposed to hunt and kill any suspected living organisms that have the disease.
