North Point Worship Releases "Live From Decatur City" EP March 26
Internationally known North Point Worship releases Live From Decatur City March 26 with the EP's lead single, "Abundantly More (Live)," releasing today to digital and streaming outlets internationally from North Point Music® and Centricity Music.
Part of North Point Ministries' global network of more than 90 partner churches, North Point Worship captured Live From Decatur City audio and video with a full 12-piece band at Decatur City Church, which is one of the ministries' seven Atlanta-area campuses. Although recorded without an audience due to COVID-19 restrictions, the worship team is excited to share what they experienced in the church during the recording.
"Since this year has thrown everyone many curve balls, and being together isn't an option for most, we decided to try to create that experience as best we could virtually," says worship leader Lauren Lee. "Our hope is that these songs will translate through your screen, speakers or phone the way we felt them in that room; a group of friends, full of love for each other, pursuing Jesus side by side. And we invite you to join in."
Along with the energetic new recording of "Abundantly More" featuring Clay Finnesand, the upcoming EP includes North Point Worship songs "O What A Miracle" featuring Kaycee Hines and "Anchor or Peace" featuring Lee.
And while North Point Worship rarely covers worship songs written outside of its group of talented songwriters and musicians, there are two songs special to the team that they recorded for Live From Decatur City. Chris Cauley, Desi Raines and Lee lead a rousing version of Maverick City's "Promises" and Heath Balltzglier and Emily Harrison lead Bethel Music's "Goodness of God."
The full Live From Decatur City track listing follows:
1) O What A Miracle -live (feat. Kaycee Hines)
2) Anchor or Peace -live (feat. Lauren Lee)
3) Promises -live (feat. Chris Cauley, Desi Raines, Lauren Lee)
4) Goodness of God -live (feat. Heath Balltzglier, Emily Harrison)
5) Abundantly More -live (feat. Clay Finnesand)
