Jack Graham to Join Franklin Graham in September Prayer March on the National Mall
Dr. Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church and founder of Powerpoint Ministries, will join Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan's Purse, in his "Prayer March 2020" on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Washington, D.C. The event will bring thousands of Christians to the National Mall to pray for the healing and unity of the nation.
Jack Graham, who is not related to Franklin Graham, confirmed his attendance in a tweet to Franklin Graham and Rev. Ronnie Floyd, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's executive committee, on Saturday, Aug. 8.
"This won't be a partisan event. This will be a prayer event," said Dr. Jack Graham. "We're going to march, we're going to pray and we're going to ask God to move in our hearts and in our nation."
"Prayer March 2020" will begin Sept. 26 at 12 p.m. EST at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. Participants will walk the 1.8 miles along the National Mall to the Capitol building, where the event will conclude at 2 p.m. EST.
