Worship Leader Michael Davis Releases "Leading Me to Life"
Worship leader Michael Davis has just released his debut self produced full length album, Leading Me to Life. Currently, Michael is a worship leader at the Greenhouse Church in Gainesville, FL. He also runs a recording studio and gives music lessons on guitar, bass, and drums.
"When you write songs and play them on a stage, you're typically labeled a 'performer,' but my desire really isn't to 'perform.' My desire anytime I step on stage is to point people to Jesus. I want to give Him all the glory. My desire is to worship; and lead people in that direction. The songs I write are usually sung to the Lord, and are made to show the world how great His love for us all truly is."
Davis has been a musician since age 4 when he began taking piano lessons. He grew up playing guitar in worship bands and began leading worship as a senior in high school.
For the past 8 years later, God has opened door after door for Michael as a worship leader and a solo artist. He released his first EP in 2011. In 2013 his original song, "I Need You" was featured in the theatrical film (and soundtrack of) "The Investigator." Michael self-produced a second EP in 2013 as well.
Tracklist:
1. Gaze Upon the Cross
2. Nothing Else Satisfies (feat. Lathan Warlick)
3. Leading Me to Life
4. Behold the Lamb
5. You Will Come Through
6. You Have Overcome (feat. Ryan Galloway)

On top of leading teams and playing every week at his home church, Michael travels regularly both with his band and by himself to lead at conferences, retreats, youth camps, and other special events.
Michael also has a heart to help plant and grow churches all over the world. He graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in Practical Theology with plans of devoting his life to whatever ministry call God has, even beyond just music.
