Details of Darlene Zschech's New Worship Live Album Revealed
On March 3, worship leader and songwriter Darlene Zschech returns with her new Integrity Music live album, Here I Am Send Me. Darlene's first album of new worship material since 2013's bestselling Revealing Jesus, has a few firsts
First, this is her first album since her successful bout with breast cancer. This is also first recording at Hope Unlimited Church where she and her husband Mark are pastors. Featuring new songs written by Darlene with established writers Martin Smith, Paul Baloche, Leeland Mooring and Jenn Johnson (Bethel), her album also features songs co-written with writers from their church. Various members of Hope Unlimited Church join Darlene in co-leading each song.
Strong threads of both the greatness of God and the mandate to carry out the Great Commission permeate the album, inviting us to take worship to the nations and our neighbour alike. Rooted in the local church, all the songs of Here I Am Send Me are used in worship times at Darlene's home church and are relatable and powerful for local churches around the world to use in congregational worship settings.
"Darlene has been a huge inspiration to worship pastors and leaders globally and we are honoured to have her as part of the Integrity Music family. She has an undoubted call to build up worshippers and mentor worship leaders, aligning with what we believe God has called us to do as an organisation," said Adrian Thompson, Integrity's Vice President of Song and Artist Development.
Zschech said she couldn't be happier to enter this next season of writing and recording with Integrity Music. "It literally feels like coming home. My heart is filled to overflowing with thanksgiving and songs, and I cannot wait to share them."
A worship leader, pastor, singer, songwriter, speaker and author, Darlene Zschech has led millions of Christians in worship. She is best known for her work with Hillsong Worship where she served as worship pastor. Over the years, she has had penned songs for the Australian mega church such as "At the Cross," "The Potter's Hand," "Shout to the Lord" and many more.
