The Amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtrack for the upcoming film is set to release at the end of April and a new track has hit the internet. "It's On Again" from Alicia Keys featuring Kendrick Lamar was produced by Pharrell Williams dropped early Monday morning (listen to track above).
The song has a big and aggressive sound that perfectly fits for the superhero movie. The track begins with Kendrick's rapid-fire rapping over a hard rock guitar riff before Alicia's smooth vocals come in with some pretty powerful lyrics: "And even through disaster / eye of the tiger for hope ... and even when I'm tired / 'go' is the only word I know."
"Working with such talented artists like Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and the king of movie scores, Hans Zimmer, was an incredible experience," Alicia explains. "What I love most about our song 'It's On Again' from The Amazing Spider-Man is the message that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. That is something I believe in. We can all be superheroes in our own lives!"
"It's On Again" is available now on iTunes and the entire Amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtrack can be downloaded on April 22. The soundtrack features The Neighbourhood and another track from Pharrell as well. Does the soundtrack and new song from Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar get you more excited for the upcoming movie? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2!
