V. Rose Shares Her Thoughts on Christmas and Her Christmas Single
V. Rose has taken some time off to record a Christmas song as a gift to her beloved fans. She has released her signature version of the seasonal standard "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." One of the reasons why V. Rose chose to release a Christmas song is because Christmas is her favorite season.
V. Rose confesses: "My greatest Christmas memory is from when I was 9 or 10. I remember laying on the dog bed next the fireplace with my dog while my brothers danced in the kitchen with my dad to Nat King Cole Christmas music. We were all together and it was perfect."
When asked what what her favorite Christmas was as a child, she says, "There are so many but an interesting one is that I have always slept under the tree on Christmas Eve. When I was a kid we all did and there are 7 of us. I still spend Christmas Eve at my dad's house every year and my 10-year-old little brother Lucio and I sleep under the tree."
Talking about her favorite dessert for Christmas: "My favorite is pumpkin pie with tons of whipped cream or Cool-Whip or both depending on my mood. I made it for the first time last year and I am looking forward to my grandma to show me how to do it right this year haha!"
V. Rose has recently released her brand new EP titled "Hearts Up" on October 30th with her first full-length album for Inpop Records in March of 2016.
Inpop Records believe the dynamics of Christian music are changing. Fewer and fewer artists are engaging youth culture as it is admittedly a tough road but that is what is special about Christian hip-hop and what is special about V. Her music connects immediately with teenage girls and guys alike.
The songs on this project were written and produced by her longtime producer Spec (Flame) and Broken City (Colton Dixon, Demi Lovato) and "Take A Broken Heart" features a guest appearance from Derek Minor.
