Exhale will be the follow-up album to last year's Oxygen: inhale. The album was a #1 hit on iTunes' Rock chart and No. 6 on the overall Albums chart. Further, the recording's lead single "Born This Way" also was a Top 35 hit at Active Rock and becomes a Christian Top 10 Rock hit.
Critics raved about the album. This is an excerpt of our review: "There ought to be warning labels affixed to Thousand Foot Krutch's (TFK) latest release "Oxygen: Inhale." With combustible titles such as "Set Me On Fire," "Light Up," "Glow" and "Oxygen," you have to be careful to keep the matches far away. Once ignited, these songs will torch up; they will become like wild uncontrollable bushfires burning with Godly passions within our lives."
Full Metal Rock says it's "another EPIC album" as Examiner.com's 5-star review declares, "you need this in your music collection...every song on it is a great."Midwest Music Scene adds that it is "a worthy addition to TFK's already impressive discography" while Ignite Music Magazine calls the production "stellar" and Zombie Tapdance calls attention to McNevan's voice, saying, "The vocal roller coaster is just phenomenal...go pick up this CD or digital download."
Ontario, Canada-bred TFK has been a continuously escalating highlight reel since their formation in 1997. With best-selling albums, over 1.1 million albums sold, nine Active Rock hits and a slew of soundtrack slots, the group has literally infiltrated every facet of pop culture. They continue to receive ongoing ESPN appearances, as well as various NASCAR, MLB, NHL, WWE, NCAA and NFL airings (including the 2010 Super Bowl), along with the "GI Joe" movie trailer, WGN-TV's "Smallville" and EA Sports' NHL 2010 and 2013 video games. Remarkably, the band also receives about 25,000,000 monthly views in combined streaming across all of YouTube.
