V. Rose Releases Her InPop Records Debut "Hearts Up"
On October 30, singer and songwriter V. Rose will be releasing her EP, Hearts Up. This is her debut for InPop Records. V.Rose revealed the cover (above) and tracklisting for her Hearts Up project.
The songs on the EP were written and produced by her longtime producer Spec (Flame) and Broken City (Colton Dixon, Demi Lovato) and "Take A Broken Heart" features a guest appearance from Derek Minor.
Sacramento, California's V.Rose began her singing career at age 15 as part of a vocal group. When the group parted ways, V. set out to create her own brand of pop and electronic dance music. Backed by her producer/dj SPEC, she came up through the Christian hip-hop scene as a feature vocalist on multiple Flame tracks and released two albums to critical acclaim.
"From the moment we first met with V. we knew she was special", said the label. "She has spent the past few years primarily in the Christian Hip-Hop space and some of you know her from there.
At Inpop we believe the dynamics of Christian music are changing. Fewer and fewer artists are engaging youth culture as it is admittedly a tough road but that is what is special about Christian hip-hop and what is special about V. Her music connects immediately with teenage girls and guys alike."
