Jim Brady’s Dad, Charles Brady Sr., Passes Away
Rev. Charles Brady, father of former Booth Brothers member and Jim Brady Trio founder, Jim Brady has passed away. On September 14th, he was taken to the hospital emergency and soon after was taken into surgery for open heart surgery, but God chose this day to take him home.
Writing on their webpage, Jim Brady says, "Heaven is a richer place today because of this faithful servant. We appreciate it if you would keep all the family in your prayers as they travel and make arrangements in these coming days.".
The Booth Brothers also express their condolences: "We want to take a few moments to express our condolences to Jim and Melissa Brady and the entire Brady family. Rev. Charles Brady, Jim's father passed away on Monday, September 14th.
Jim Brady was a member of the Booth Brothers for several years and his parents, Chuck and Darlene, were always supportive of Jim's God-given musical abilities. When they were in attendance at a Booth Brothers' concert, they could be seen grinning from ear to ear when Jim was on stage.
Rev. Brady will be missed by his host of friends and family members but he is now strong and healthy and is sitting at the feet of Jesus. The Brady children have inherited a legacy of love and commitment to our Savior along with many memories they will cherish from their father.
Mrs. Brady, Jim and Melissa, and Jim's brothers and sisters and their families will be in our prayers in the coming days."
