Tenth Avenue North Releases "For Those Who Can't Speak" to Bring Awareness to Human Trafficking This Month
To coincide with Human Trafficking Awareness this month, Tenth Avenue North just released a brand new video "For Those Who Can't Speak" from their current album Cathedrals.
In conjunction with the video release, the band has partnered with Compassion International, a child relief organization dedicated to the long-term development of children living in poverty around the world. They have also teamed up with International Justice Mission (IJM) to help spread the word. IJM is a U.S.-based non-profit human rights organization that operates in countries all over the world to rescue victims of individual human rights abuse.
The band wrote the song to help raise awareness and shed light on the global epidemic of human trafficking. Frontman Mike Donehey said that he began penning this song while thinking about the 27 million people who are enslaved around the world. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, the band hopes that the song will become an anthem to raise awareness and inspire action to set people free all over the nation.
