"Happy New Year" is an action comedy-drama film which is directed by no less than the infamous Farah Khan. Yash Raj Films will be responsible for the film's worldwide distribution.

The "Happy New Year" is the third partnership of Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan. The film promos made a revelation to a new type of musical heist. The film story will follow the life of a team composed by six life losers who faked their participation in a dance compilation. The "Happy New Year's" music is composed by the duo of Vishal-Shekhar and Irshad Kamil made the lyrics. The full soundtrack was released in advance last September 15.
