'Son of God' Movie Trailer Featuring Music from for King & Country, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Son of God comes to theaters February 28, 2014. Now, the larger-than-life story of The New Testament gets a larger-than life treatment in the stand-alone feature SON OF GOD. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score from Oscar®-winner Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. It marks the first motion picture about Jesus's life since Passion of the Christ, released ten years ago.
The Son of God movie comes from scenes of the huge hit "The Bible" that aired on The History Channel last Spring from producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. Now, the Jesus story will be available to experience on the big screen for everyone to experience.
For KING & COUNTRY's song "Baby Boy" has been used in the trailer (seen above) and will be included on the inspired by CD, SON OF GOD: Music Inspired by the Epic Motion Picture. Last year, their single "Crave" was featured on the inspired by CD for the blockbuster HISTORY channel mini-series and Cable's top-viewed telecast of 2013 "The Bible." Aussie duo for KING & COUNTRY is currently gearing up to head out on Casting Crowns' "Thrive Tour" on February 20 for 33 dates through May 3.
for KING & COUNTRY, recently named "New Artist of the Year" at the 44th Annual Dove Awards for the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Crave, in 2012. In 2012, for KING & COUNTRY was named as one of Billboard's 17 acts to watch and were CCM's best-selling new artist. ET's "The Insider" said the duo, "make music that speaks directly to your heart" and have been "gaining popularity in the alt-rock genre."
