Eminem's New Album Shady XV Update: Celebrating Shady Record's 15th Anniversary, Eminem Reveals Album Cover - a Signature Artwork of His Earlier Days
Eminem's new upcoming album Shady XV is set to be released on November 24, and he recently revealed the album cover for his upcoming new album on instagram stating:
"Back to basics! Here's the cover for #SHADYXV out 11/24".
The album cover artwork of "Shady XV" shows a hockey mask with two crossed chainsaws on a black background. The artwork is inspired by the infamous horror movie "Friday the 13th", and pays homage to Eminem's earliest performances.
His new album comes in two disks; one containing the record label's greatest hits, and the other one with all the new songs "from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf, as well as special guest-artist collaborations". The greatest hits compilation will include the hit singles "In Da Club" (50 Cent) and "Lose Yourself" (Eminem).
The upcoming album Shady VX will be the 15th album, celebrating the 15th year anniversary of the Shady Records.
In other news, Eminem recently became a part of the Guinness Book of World Records new edition; his song "Rap God" was recognized as a hit single with the highest number of words. The six minute and 4 second song contains 1,560 words to be exact.
