WWE 2K15: Details of Season Pass Downloadable Content Revealed
2K Sports' WWE 2K15 will have a Season Pass program which carries all of the game's downloadable content bundled together for a discounted price. For the $29.99 package, there are three Showcase stories (including 25 Superstars), 15 arenas, and the accelerator which automatically unlocks everything in the game, plus the WWE Diva Paige as an exclusive playable character. In addition, a pack of 30 additional moves and two other packs with more wrestlers will be available for individual purchase. The full list of downloadable content is as follows:
- The "One More Match" pack, which is available for a suggested price of $9.99, focuses on the Randy Orton and Christian rivalry back in 2011. This story-based pack includes Randy Orton, Christian, Edge, Mark Henry and Sheamus. The pack will also include four more playable arenas, namely, SmackDown, Extreme Rules, Over the Limit and Capitol Punishment.
- The "Hall of Pain" pack, which is available for a suggested price of $9.99, features story missions revolving around WWE Superstar Mark Henry's top matches. In addition to Henry, it involves Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, Great Khali, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Ryback. The pack also unlocks additional arenas of SmackDown (2011), Vengeance (2011) and WrestleMania 29.
- The "Path of the Warrior" pack, which is available for a suggested price of $9.99, focuses on the story of WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior. This pack involves playable WWE legends like Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant Sgt. Slaughter, Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King Randy Savage, Colonel Mustafa, Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Also appearing are Howard Finkel Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan. The additional playable arenas are WrestleMania VI, VII and XII; SummerSlam (1988, 1990 and 1991);SaturdayNight's Main Event XXIV and Madison Square Garden.
- The WCW pack, available at the suggested price of $7.99, includes WCW Superstars Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger.
- The NXT Arrival pack, available at the suggested price of $7.99, includes playable NXT Superstars JBL, Adam Rose and The Ascension (Konnor and Victor) and the Diva Emma.
- The "Accelerator," which instantly unlocks all WWE 2K15 content, which is available for $1.99.
- A "New Moves" pack, featuring 30 new wrestling moves, including an alternate version of Sister Abigail (performed from the ring corner and made popular by Bray Wyatt) and Multiple Gut Wrenches (made popular by Cesaro), which will be available for $3.99.
The WWE 2K15 downloadable content will begin rolling out later in 2014 following the release of game on October 28 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions and November 18 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 variations.
