"The Boy Next Door": Lopez and Guzman Star in an Upcoming Thriller in 2015

"The Boy Next Door" is an upcoming American thriller film, which chronicles a woman who meets a young man shortly after her divorce. Their affair turns out to dangerous as the young man is more obsessive and threatening than he appears.

The cast members of the forthcoming film star 2012 ALMA Award Nominee and Image Award Nominee Jennifer Lopez as Claire Peterson, Ryan Guzman as Noah Sandborn. It is also revealed in Deadline that the cast members also include Kristin Chenoweth as Claire's bestfriend and John Corbett, who will be playing Claire's ex-husband.

Aside from the upcoming movie, Jennifer Lopez's other projects set for next year include "Lila & Eve" and "Home". Her lead actor, Ryan Guzman, has recently appeared in "Pretty Little Liars", "Always Woodstock", "April Rain", and "Step Up All In". Besides his upcoming movie, Guzman's future projects include "Beyond Paradise", and "Jem and the Holograms".

According to Deadline, Ryan Guzman will also be part of the cast of "That's What I'm Talking About", win which the actor plays a lead role. The movie chronicles a college freshman who moves into a fraternity-like baseball house together with his teammates who like partying hard.

This month, the actor had an interview with Variety Latino. He was asked how he had handled seducing the singer. "I'm still looking to find that out, I don't know," he said.

Other members of the cast Bailey Chase, Ian Nelson, Travis Schudlt, Raquel Gardner, Hill Harper, Adam Hicks, Lexi Atkins, Brian Mahoney, Jack Wallace, Kari Perdue, Chillie Mo, Brandon Rush, Kent Avenido, Chad Bullard, and Forrest Hoffman.

Set to be directed by 2005 ShoWest Award Director of the Year Winner Rob Cohen, the film is written by Barbara Curry. The movie is also produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, Lopez and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas of Nuyorican Productions, Benny Medina of The Medina Company, and John Jacobs of Smart Entertainment.

As per Dread Central, the upcoming thriller film will be distributed by the Universal Pictures and is plotted to debut in theaters and cinemas on January 23, 2015.
