'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: Booth Got Problem On Trusting His Colleagues
"Bones" had just returned on Thursday, and for the first time, in the Season 10, Brennan (Emily Deschanel), and Booth (David and Boreanaz) did not have their deal regarding the conspiracy that had overwhelmed them since the finale of Season 9. It was back to the usual murder case in "The Purging of the Pundit".
The episode started when the two school girl were finding a dead body of an overweight man in a trough. The body was discovered by Brennan and Booth. They got the case and find out a conservative and offensive talk show host, Hutch.
The body was examined by The Jeffersonian Team Institute and discovered some evidence of strangulation, even though it was not really the cause of death. There were also some signs that suggested that the victim had gone pleasure at the time of his execution.
Meanwhile, Agent Aubrey (John Boyd) and Booth visited the radio station. They picked up some files on callers who had threatened Hutch. However, Booth had Brennan, and not Aubrey to go to Jonah Warton, a Neo-Nazi suspect, that was found from the files. Booth got problem on trusting his colleagues, despite of Brennan who pleaded him to consider in something bigger than him.
After the suspect got busted, Brennan and Booth were trapped without any lead until the Jeffersonian team concluded that Hutch died while he was engaged in S&M play.
After Brennan got the evidence when the hunter disposed the body, it brought Booth back to Gary Basaraba, Hutch's producer, who claimed that he was the only one who disposed the dead body after finding it in an uncompromised position at the S&M room.
In the end, Brennan made use of a Hutch's voicemail and recordings of the show to determine Hutch, co-host. It was Alan Spaziano (William Vought) who made the call. It was concluded that he murdered Hutch after he blackmailed the host. When Hutch released himself from restraints and attacked Alan, he murdered him. Brennan had forced Booth to got Aubrey and had Alan to be interrogated.
As the case was solved, Booth and Brennan celebrated over a drink. Aubrey visited them and brought with her a gift - a bottle of wine. It seems that Booth might learn to trust his partner.
