Naruto the Movie News: The Last: Naruto the Movie Opens in Theaters on December 6, Long-running Manga's Last Issue to be Released November 10
Naruto the Movie updates: The Last: Naruto the Movie release date has been set for December 6, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the original manga series. Directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi, this is the 10th Naruto production made for the big screen and will be a part of Naruto's New Era Opening Project.
Manga creator Masashi Kishimoto oversaw the The Last: Naruto the Movie's story and character development. Fans can expect a more mature Naruto, with a lean, toned body, looking wiser and fiercer than ever.
Meanwhile, after 15 years and almost 700 issues, it was recently announced that the long-running Japanese manga is coming to an end; the last issue will be released on November 10. This comes as no surprise because as early as 2012, Kishimoto has been saying that the series is nearing its climax.
Considered as the best-selling Japanese manga in the US, Naruto tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a teenage ninja who dreams to become the Hokage, the strongest ninja in his village.
