This are still not clear but according to Tim Kang who plays the role of Kimball Cho this could really be the final season in a tease he posted on his twitter handle but he promised that fans will not get disappointed by their favorite hit drama series that airs on CBS.

Tim Kang had earlier spilled that this could be the final season of the Mentalist when he wrote, "I'll do my best to document this last season," which was an indirect hint to the keen eye that the Mentalist could Premiere sometime around January 2015. "Nothing But Blue Skies" is the set title of the premiere episode of the Mentalist season 7 which can only tell the fans what the premiere episode has in store for them. The episode will be followed by the second episode entitled, 'The Graybar Hotel' and the third episode taking the title, 'Orange Blossom Ice Cream'. One can tell from the titles the drama that is going to come will surely be intense.

According to a post by IBTimes, rumors had come up which said that Simon Baker would Direct a few episodes of the 13-episode final season of Bruno Heller created series.
