Ray Donavan fans have a lot to smile about since it was confirmed that the season would go for another season that is Ray Donavan season 3. Speculations are circulating around a possible July 2015 premiere for the 12-episode series. Season 3 of the series is already confirmed but what is still a mystery is the exact premiere date as the series directors and producers have not said anything yet. These are reports according to Christian Post.
When season 2 of Ray Donovan ended, Show Time Entertainment Released a promo video to confirm to fans that season 3 would soon premiere though they did not release any news on the scheduled premiere date. This leaves just mere speculations and rumors of a possible July 2015 release date because if we take into consideration the previous two seasons, they premiered around the same time. And there are rumors that the cast and crew members could also be headed to film in early 2015 to match that release date.
Christian Post sited that the script of Season 3 Ray Donavan is still being written. What does this mean? This news can clearly depict that fans who are waiting for any spoilers have to wait a little bit longer. Once the script is complete then spoilers will hit the internet once it leaks.
But this news should not discourage fans who are awaiting the series since Enstars did report that the third season will indeed feature 12 episodes with earlier reports that came from Showtime President David Nevins who promised fans that the third season will surely be one franchise worth waiting for. "It will be filled with complex and interesting characters to give its audience compelling television to look forward to for season to come," he said. With such confirmation there is a glimmer of hope for a successful season yet to come that is Ray Donavan season 3.
In regards to the cast, Jon Voight (Mickey Donovan), Katherine Moenning (Lena), Steven Bauer (Avi) and Kerris Dorsey (Bridget) will make a comeback in season 3 Ray Donovan.
