The competition between the tech legends Sony and Apple has heated up since Xperia is offering its flagship smartphones with lower price than Apple's iPhone.

iPhone 6 plus has extended the display size of the legendary iPhone series this time with 5.5-inches display size with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The display type is LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with crystal-clear and sharp 401ppi pixel density whereas the mighty Sony Xperia Z3 just falls behind with smaller display size of 5.2-inches. However, the pixel density takes Sony a step ahead with 424 pixels per inch. The display type is almost similar to iPhone. X-Reality Engine and triluminos display makes HD movies more real with excellent picture quality. The dark and bright spots are so clear that enjoying movies with family and kids will be much fun. Shatterproof glass and oleophobic coating protects iPhone 6 plus while Xperia Z3 has dust proof and water resistant warrantee certified by IP68.

iPhone 6 plus has 16-128GB storage model available with 1GB of RAM while Xperia Z3 has 16/32GB internal storage model available with 3GB of RAM. iPhone lacks the extra storage facility but Sony Xperia Z3 has mountable 128GB micro SD card slot available.

Both the devices compete strongly with powerful hardware specification. iPhone 6 plus has Apple's latest Apple A8 chipset with dual core cyclone processor where the frequency is 1.4 GHz and the GPU is powerful PowerVR GX6450 quad core graphics emulator, which was also available in iPad Mini 2. The Sony Xperia Z3 boosts the hardware configuration with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor. For PS4 owners this will be the first smartphone to run PS4 games on screen with display sharing connectivity.

iPhone 6 plus kept the camera level still moderate 8MP rear facing sensor and 1.2MP front facing camera sensor while Sony Xperia Z3 is blessed with 20.7MP primary camera and 2.2MP front facing camera. The latest technology and battery capacity will allow user to run Xperia Z3 at least two days with moderate use. iPhone 6 plus runs on latest iOS 8 operating system and Xperia Z3 runs on android v4.4.4KitKat.
