GoPro Hero 3+ vs. GoPro Hero 4 - GoPro Unveils New High Performance Action Cameras; Video Recording Experience, Price and Other Features Compared!
GoPro has updated its action cameras with a better video recording and touch screen features, Christian Post reported. After buzzing rumors for several days, the company has finally unveiled its new set of high performance cameras.
GoPro 3+ and the GoPro Hero 4 are the latest models of cameras that are now having their fair share of reviews. Among the several reviews in the internet, Hero 4 has become the leading contender for GoPro's best action camera.
The Christian Post has emphasized the improved high definition video recording capabilities of the Hero 4 as compared to the Hero 3+. "In 1080p it can shoot at frame rates up to 120 fps, while the Hero 3+ can shoot at 1080p at frame rates of 60/50 fps," Christian Post reports.
Because of the improvement in its video quality, Gizmag tagged Hero 4 Black as the action camera for the professionals. "The Hero 4 Black is clearly designed for professionals and, as such, offers the best video quality of any GoPro camera."
Like Hero 3+, GoPro's Hero 4 is available in two colors, black and silver. The GoPro Hero 4 Silver has a built in touch screen features and is $100 cheaper than the black.
Another notable addition to "Hero 4" is it includes a new user interface that provides better user experience in taking videos and photos. Gizmodo reported that the camera now has Bluetooth feature that allows limitless possibilities in pairing the camera to any device.
On the other hand, there are few changes in terms of dimensions and weight. Hero 3+ and Hero 4 have almost the same size and both can fit in the GoPro case. There is also a noted change in terms of battery life that consumers may not be happy to know. From 1180 mAh, the new GoPro cameras have 1160 mAh only.
Hero 4 is obviously better than Hero 3+ in a lot of aspects but the previous camera is still considered a good choice. "Until a week ago, the Hero3+ Black, was the top of the GoPro range and, as such, still offers a solid package."
The new range of high definition action cameras from GoPro has been available since Oct. 5. Hero 4 black costs $500 and the silver costs $400.
Thrill seekers and sports-minded, men and women, must try these new GoPro cameras.
