Dell Venue 8 7000 Release Date, Features, Specs, Price: World's Thinnest Tablet Slab Available This November
Dell's newest tablet, the Dell Venue 8 7000, is said to be the world's thinnest tablet slab in the market. The device will be available this November. Till then let us see the specifications of Dell Venue 8 7000:
Dell Venue 8 7000 is only 0.24-inch thick lending a modern, industrial look which will fit any décor in the office, living room, purse, or briefcase. It has 8.4-inch panel, featuring 2K and resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution OLED display with deep black levels and stark contrast and impressive camera features.
CNET calls the Dell Venue 8 7000 "the tablet camera of the future." It has an 8-megapixel RealSense camera and a Gallery app that gives you all you need to take full advantage of the 3D snapper.
Intel's RealSense camera technolgy is a 3D camera and works much like the Xbox Kinect and Amazon Fire Phone, Trusted Reviews note.
It is a dual camera that's combined with an IR sensor and able to take pictures with depth, and a very useful technology that can be used in creating images with 3D printers.
Also, the Dell Venue 8 7000 is the first tablet to sport such technology.
Other features of the device include a quad-core Intel Atom Z3500 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage and it runs on version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
The initial release of the Dell Venue 8 7000 Series tablet will be a Wi-Fi only model. There was no specification noted, but we are certain 802.11a/b/g/n will be supported. We are not sure if 802.11ac is not in the package, nor do we know if it is a dual-antenna that supports MIMO (multiple-in, multiple-out) signal management.
Pricing for the unit is still unknown and will be disclosed on its availability date. But we won't be surprised if it comes with premium price tag.
