Sunset Overdrive Gameplay, Release Date And Review: Sunset Overdrive Is To Be Published By Microsoft Studios And Is Set For Publication In October As An Action And Open World Video Game Set In 2027
We have the latest for you on the gameplay, release date and review of Sunset Overdrive. Game developer "Insomniac" announced the development of a new and upcoming video game titled, "Sunset Overdrive". The announcement was made last year in an Expo Electronic Entertainment. The game, Sunset Overdrive is a third person shooter game. It's an action and open world video game that will let players traverse the Metropolis Sunset City in the future time of 2027.
The game, Sunset Overdrive is set to be published by Microsoft Studios and is set for publication on October 28th this year 2014 in America and two days later in Europe for Xbox One game Console.
The game play of Sunset Overdrive revealed that the game focuses on world which is being controlled by a corporation by the name FizzCo. The players will have the chance to customize one of FizzCo employees according to their preference. The players can customize employees according to body, gender and skin color. The company just threw a big celebration party following their newly released energy drink which they branded 'Overcharge Delirium XT' in the game. The players are now tasked with playing as the main FizzCo character to clean up the mess that was left after the big party. Later on, the gamers will have to combat villainous characters in the game called "OD'd humans". They are the humans who mutated after taking in too much of the energy drinks in the party.
On the details of the game, players can hold up to eight weapons at a time. The weapons to be used in the game will include rifle and a funny grenade launcher which releases teddy bears! As players progress in the game's storyline, they will have access to new weapons and they can even buy more from shops. The game's main idea was developed by Insomniac's Drew Murray and Marcus Smith on a particular day when they were working on Resistance three back in 2011. The two got the idea from a documentary known as "Hyena Men of Kenya" and they also added influences from Tank Girl comics in a novel titled "I am Legend". Initially they presented the idea to CEO Ted Price of Insomniac but they did not impress the first time. They made it through the second time though.
Ted Price calls the game as a reflection of Insomniac's personality, and they even compare the humor to that of Ratchet and Clank.
