Israel Houghton Returns with "Covered" And His Asian Tour

Two years after the release of his Grammy awarded "Jesus at the Center," Gospel Music's songwriter, producer, and worship leader Israel Houghton is back with his brand new single "Covered."  This song is the first release from his upcoming RCA Inspiration live recording "Covered... Alive in Asia."  Written and produced by Israel Houghton with co-producers Aaron Lindsey and Kevin Camp, "Covered" is an anointed praise and worship anthem that rejoices about God's grace received at the cross. The song will be available on all digital music providers beginning Tuesday, October 14.

"Anyone who has followed our music for any length of time in our 15 years of existence knows that we tend to sing a lot about God's grace," said Israel Houghton.  "We all need it. This single "Covered" represents the newest-and I believe clearest version of that force of God's favor that I've ever had the privilege of writing."

In addition to releasing the debut single, the talented songwriter, musician and vocalist is gearing up to travel to Asia with New Breed for the multi-country live recording of COVERED...ALIVE IN ASIA.  The new album will mark Houghton's 10^th album with New Breed.  The project will feature a concert film on limited theatrical release and DVD and a Spanish companion album.
