'Scandal' Season 4 Premiere Review: Olivia Will Become Julia Baker Now
The 4rth season of the hit political TV series Scandal is back and it is now with more answers and drama from the previous one. Here are some spoilers that you might want to check and some refresher before you enjoy watching the whole show.
First, Olivia has a new name and she is now Julia Baker. She will receive a letter from Quinn while enjoying a vacation scene with Jake. On the letter is a clip from the newspaper reporting about Harrison's demise. The two had to leave and go back to DC.
Lots of name changing are happening this time like Huck will now be called as Randy. You have to really be glued on this show to keep up with their characters alone. Moving on, Randy and Abby didn't want to help with the funeral of Harrison. And as we have mentioned earlier, more drama will happen because it's not just Harrison who dies in this season but also Olivia's mom.
A new character will also be in the show and her name is Liz who will cause some problems inside the White House by being so curious Mellie (first lady). The actress Portia de Rossi will play Liz. Mellie on the other hand will be going through a lot of things and pain because she had to deal with the death of her son.
And for those who are wondering if Olivia and Fitz are ever going to be okay again, this season just might make that happen. Although there is no assurance about it but there are signs that the two might reconcile their differences.
During the funeral, you will see that Randy and Abby will still make an appearance even when they really didn't want to go. But later on, Abby found herself crying during the ceremony. Meanwhile, this episode may actually give you a hint that or it may suggest that Papa has something to do with Harrison's death. He made a promise to Olivia that he is completely innocent about it but you might think otherwise.
Catch Scandal on the ABC channel every Thursday at 9/8 Central.
