'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Air Date: Premiere Of Its 5th Season On October 12
Stars of the AMC horror post apocalyptic drama series 'The Walking Dead' Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun are ready to rock your world this upcoming premiere of its 5th season on October 12.
Lincoln assures fans of the Walking Dead series that it will be an 'action-packed' season and we will not be generally disappointed with this 5th installment.
According to Reedus, "Daryl looks at Rick as the brother that Merle wasn't," he told TVGuide "To have somebody he looks up to and has a mutual respect for -- someone he can trust -- is a big deal for Daryl." He added.
On the other side of the news, Yeun's Glenn will be struggling with the chaos and catastrophe of zombie apocalypse and its reality. Even though his character seeks humanity and hope, he understands that the reality of the world he is living in is brutal and that is quite his inner struggle, "And I think he's still growing in that respect. But he's definitely probably the man he never dreamed he could be at this point," Yeun added in one of his interviews in Entertainment Weekly. These three characters have become fan favorites since but we know no one is safe in this series. In addition to that, there will be a lot of different character and different personalities that changes the story a bit. "There are a lot of different flavors in the soup right now, which is great." Reedus added to TV Guide.
This 'action-packed' season is consists of 16 episodes and season 4 show runner Scott Gimple remains as the executive producer. "No Sanctuary" will be the title of its pilot episode, while the 2nd episode will be dubbed as "Strangers". The next episode titles to be announced.
For all "The Walking Dead" series fans out there, make sure to mark your calendars for it is surely to be one hell of a ride as we join them in their fight against the post apocalyptic chaos ruled by the flesh eating zombies.
Catch the premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 on October 12, 2014 9PM on AMC.
