Taylor Swift New Album Release and Other Latest News; T. Swift Explains Meaning and Message Behind '1989'
News about the upcoming Taylor Swift new album release are circulating at the moment and this time, the album will go by the name of '1989.'
The Taylor Swift new album song list includes 'Shake It Off,' her first song off the album which is also currently at the top of the charts. If you guys are curious about the Taylor Swift new album 2014 name, then cease worrying because Taylor Swift was happy enough to divulge the not-so-secret truth behind the name to her fans.
According to a recent interview with Huffington Post, Swift explained that she chose the name '1989' for her new album not only because that was the year she was born, but more importantly because it was a year that had seen through a lot of changes in the music industry; at the same time, it was a year for significant musical experimentation."It was a very experimental time in pop music...People realized songs didn't have to be this standard drums-guitar-bass-whatever."
The '22' singer further explained. "We can make a song with synths and a drum pad. We can do group vocals the entire song. We can do so many different things." And so with this record, I thought, 'There are no rules to this. I don't need to use the same musicians I've used, or the same band, or the same producers, or the same formula. I can make whatever record I want.'"
In short, Taylor Swift's new album serves as her very own 1989-a time for change and breaking with her conventions.
'1989' is slated to be released on October 27, 2014.
