Tim Tebow Officially Joins 'Good Morning America' ABC Show as Contributor with 'Motivate Me Monday' Segment Starting September 15th
Tim Tebow has yet another new gig on his plate. After joining ESPN to help with SEC college football, Tebow is now headed to "Good Morning America".
Tebow will officially make his debut on "Good Morning America" on September 15th as the newest contributor. His role on the current No. 1 morning talk show will be a feature series called "Motivate Me Monday", which will spotlight individuals and their stories of triumph. Tebow will appear in studio and travel to other cities as part of the series to meet the highlighted individuals.
The former Denver Broncos quarterback has made a few guest appearances on "GMA" with the last time being around the Super Bowl in February. "Good Morning America" is anchored by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer. Tom Cibrowski is senior executive producer.
Tim Tebow, is a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from the University of Florida who last appeared in an NFL game during the 2012 season, when he was used sparingly by the New York Jets. He got picked up by the New England Patriots in 2013 but was cut before the start of the season.
Tebow, still only 26 years old, still works out on a daily basis and has hopes of getting another shot in the NFL. "I'm training every day and feel like I'm the best that I've ever been," Tebow told The Tennessean. "I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I'm just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I'm excited about it, though."
