Evolve Reveals, Reviews, Release Date, Plot and News: 2k Reveals New Gameplay Features for the Players
As you well know, Evolve is an asymmetrical first person shooter game which has been slated to come out on February 10th next year. The game is set to be available on X Box One while the PS4 release is going to come later at a timed release. According to the game-play, it is going to be four warriors against one monster where each of the roles are actually characters. The plot is going to feature hunters who go to an alien planet and have to battle the resident aliens in order to conquer the planet. According to the latest plot rumors, the setting of the game is supposed to be planet Shear.
According to 2K who are the developers for the game, both the animals and the plants are going to be adversaries to both the four man team and the monster they are battling. This is going to be the developers first product on the next generation consoles so they are doing their best to make sure the players are going to get their money's worth. Some may see that the four versus one arrangement is a bit unfair for whoever is playing the part of the monster. Evolve offered an opportunity to play an alpha version at PAX Prime 2014. According to reviews from gamers who played, it was quite entertaining and the game does not have particular favorites as concerns the monsters.
Apparently Goliath has quite a few moves including splash back to repel the enemy s well as brute force. The monster also has an advantage in the environment by not being as easily affected and able to scale harsh terrain much easier which is advantageous during an attack. Thanks to the third person perspective of the game when controlling the beast, it actually feels like one is playing a two against four game. At the same time, the power and health of the monster allow one to make tactical decisions in order to deal with most of the damage most times.
