Rainbow Six Siege Release Date, News and Rumors: Developers may use AnvilNext Game to Form First Person Shooter Gameplay
Rainbow Six Siege was announced by Ubisoft at the E3 event this year, as a tactical first person shooter game which is something between Special Forces quick response operations and covert actions from 24. As such, to prove their point, the developers came up with a trailer which they displayed at the convention that was 35 minutes long. Talk about gameplay marketing, by the end, the fans went wild with desire and who can blame them. The gameplay shows that even without the scripted sequences that we see in the play mode, the game still looks quite fun and tense. The game is going to be offered for PS4, PC and X Box One, and will feature online multiplayer settings. Communications and teamwork are going to be much of a factor here.
From the latest reports about the movie it is going to feature destructible environments, which feed into the theme of chaos and war, it is a combat game after all. In this case, one is prone to seeing gun battles in the middle of suburbia while hunting a terrorist cell. There are rumors that the game is changing the AnvilNext game into a first person shooter type of game play. That would mean there is no way the game would arrive early next year, because of the alterations which need to be made thus far. Right now we will just have to settle for the trailer as well as the prerelease announcements that Ubisoft make up to the release of the game.
According Oliver Couture, Ubisoft Technical artist for the game, "This year we showed multiplayer - because we want to have fun playing against each other internally, it's a good test to know if a game is fun - but we are 100 percent aware that single-player is a big part." From the posters, the game may look like another call of duty, but just watch the trailer and wait for the release.
