Jurassic World Latest News: Principal Photography Wraps Up and Fourth Film is a Tribute to Sir Richard Attenborough, the creator of the Jurassic Park
The Jurassic World movie will be seen in theaters on June 12, 2015, a Friday. Filming for the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise movie series wrapped up first week of last month, according to official Jurassic World news sources. In fact, to mark the occasion, producer Frank Marshall even tweeted a picture of the final day's call sheet that says,"Picture Finish." Director Colin Trevorrow on the other hand tweeted the word "Wrap" with an attached photo of the production slate in between the teeth of what appears to be one of the Jurassic World dinosaurs props.
There is however still no official Jurassic World trailer yet, although movie still photos and Jurassic World movie posters and promo arts are already being uploaded to the Internet as soon as they become available. Fans were actually disappointed when no Jurassic World trailer was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con. With the whole film now complete, perhaps the official Jurassic World trailer may already be expected to air within the next few months.
Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt as "Owen," an ex-military who works at the theme park, Bryce Dallas Howard as "Beth," a corporate scientist for an unknown organization, Irrfan Khan as "Patel," the head of Patel Corporation which is the new owner of the theme park, and Vincent D'Onofrio as "Morton," Patel's CFO. Others confirmed in the cast include Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, B.D. Wong reprising his role in the first film as "Dr. Wu", Brian Tee, Andy Buckley and James DuMont.
Jurassic World takes off twenty-two years following the Jurassic Park III incidents. Now under new ownership and new management, the devastated theme park and other InGen facilities will have been totally re-built and restored. In fact, according to JoBlo, "Jurassic Park 4, set in present day Isla Nublar, is now an actual theme park, as originally intended by John Hammond in the first film. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe - until it's not." The Jurassic World movie plot follows what will happen to the park once it becomes threatened by the emergence of a new, genetically-modified kind of Jurassic World dinosaurs.
The late Sir Richard Attenborough, who passed away at age 90 last month and who appeared in the first Jurassic Park movie as 'John Hammond,' the creator of the park, may be given a fitting tribute in the upcoming Jurassic World movie. Director Trevorrow tweeted a photo of a statue of the late actor as 'Hammond' against the backdrop of the new Jurassic World park's main building with the caption "In Memoriam."
