For lovers of comedy, Big Bang theory season 8 premieres soon so viewers can be happy to be reunited with their favorite characters: Leonard, Penny, Sheldon, Howard, Bernadette and Raj. The big question is what to expect in this new season?

  The season kicks off with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) getting a new hair style, the new look is different from her previous look in other seasons. Cattermatt confirmed that her new look will be incorporated into the season premiere of the show and that penny will get a haircut from one of the boys.

The new look will coincide with her drastic decision to change her career. "Locomotion interruption," the title of the first episode will see penny choosing to quit her acting career and become a pharmaceutical representative for Bernadette's company.

The episode title also eludes the fact Amy and Leonard go on a trip to pick up Sheldon with whom things are not going well for he is in a cross country trip on a train. "His belongings have been stolen and he needs Leonard to pick him up in Arizona. Amy's not pissed at him for leaving, but she's certainly not thrilled that when he ran into trouble, he called Leonard instead of her," a synopsis of the episode read.

CBS released the episodes logline: "Leonard and Amy take an unexpected road trip to Arizona to pick up Sheldon. Meanwhile, Penny interviews for a job at Bernadette's company and Howard is wierded out by Stuart's relationship with Mrs. Wolowitz."  

Season seven ended in the engagement of Penny and Leonard, fans are undeniably excited for the next step to which the couple would take in the forthcoming season. But rumor has it that the Leonard-Penny nuptial won't be happening soon.

Entertainment weekly quoted TBBT's executive producer Steve Molaro during a panel discussion at comic-con. "A wedding is sometime off in the future. They're not in a rush. Penny's first goal is to put the date far enough in the future. So everyone knows she's not pregnant," he said 

According to movie pilot, the new season picks up 45 days after the last episode of season 7. Big bang season 8 will premiere on September 22^nd on CBS.
