The Walking Dead Season 5 News, Rumors, Spoilers, and Updates: New Key Art Foreshadows The Hunters
On the season 3 finale of The Walking Dead, Rick and his group finally gets reunited but not in the best way.
They made it to Terminus, a safe haven proclaimed by its inhabitants, but were immediately met with hostility and aggression. Rick, along with his group are last seen inside a train car promising sweet consequences be delivered to those responsible who brought them there saying: "They're messing with the wrong people." The new key art which was released yesterday features series protagonist Rick Grimes in what seems to be the wood area behind Terminus holding his signature revolver. This might hint the group's eventual escape from the train car and their recovery of their artillery which was buried in the area for safe keeping. We can only imagine what type of vengeance the group will rain over the people of Terminus!
The tagline "Hunt or be Hunted," which seems to be a cliché and overused phrase, but in the context of the TV show's source material this may be a reference to The Hunters. The Hunters are a group of antagonists in the comics who hunt and eat people to survive. There have been plenty of evidence to suggest that the people of Terminus might just be the TV versions of The Hunters. There have been sightings of human remains scattered throughout the vicinity and in the teaser trailer there is a quick glimpse of a person butchering someone on top of a table.
Right now we can only speculate and wait for the new season to arrive.
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres October 12 on AMC 9pm, followed by The Talking Dead hosted by Chris Hardwick.
