Apple's iCloud Hacked: Nude Photos of Celebrities Such as Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande and Rihanna Leaked to the World Wide Web
The private and nude photos of celebrities that were stored in Apple's iCloud have been hacked by an unknown hacker. Celebrities involve in the nude photo scandals are either confirming or denying their purported nude photos floating around the net.
iCloud Leak Update:
Mashable reported that Twitter has suspended several known accounts that posted explicit photos of Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence. A spokesperson for Twitter cited that the said accounts were suspended due to violation of the Twitter rules.
Celebrities involved in the iCloud Hacking Scandal
The most noted celebrity involved in the iCloud hacking is Jennifer Lawrence. In the same Mashable post, it quoted a statement from Jennifer Lawrence's spokesperson. It said, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence." It could be deduced from this public statement that the nude photos of Miss Lawrence are definitely out there in the web.
Other celebrities however are denying the alleged nude photos are real and insist that the pictures are were fake. A spokesperson for singer Ariana Grande simply said that they are, "completely fake."
Update Your Apple iCloud Account
TheBitbag posted the steps necessary to update your iCloud account in case it has been hacked or compromised. You need to log in first by going to the Apple ID page. Once you are in the "Password and Security" part, you will need to give the answer to the secret question when you first made the iCloud account. Select the Continue button. Afterwards, a "Change Password" link will appear at the page's top portion. Enter the old and then type the new password.
